Youth Red Cross is a young and vibrant wing of IRCS, Odisha Branch. Youths have to potentiality to change the course of the society towards the path of human values and intense fellow felling with proper guidance and motivation.
The youth Red Cross was introduced in the College in 1994. Both +2 and Degree students can be members of YRC. The motto of YRC is “To Serve”.

Every year the YRC conducts various training programmers by arranging camps by volunteers to fulfill the objects YRC. The YRC organizes Blood donation camps in the College each year. Selected voluntary of YRC participates in SSG Camp, Zonal and interstate YRC camps.
Red Ribbon Club:
From the year 2007-08 a Red Ribbon Club is established under YRC to make the students aware about AIDS. RRC has been formed in the College to create awareness in order to combat HIV\AIDS. The Club is consisting of a team of youth volunteers those will have commitment to work for increase of knowledge and change the behavior through awareness building. The club is working in the field of HIV\AIDS awareness starting with peers in the College and gradually spread the message to family and community around it.

Membership is open to all students and members of the staff. The Youth Red Cross is an affiliated to the Red Cross Society of India.
A member of the staff shall be nominated as counsellor by the Principal. The Counsellor shall select a group of volunteers from among the students who shall organize blood donation camps, first aid training. St. John Ambulance training, and shall motivate the students to render to the needy during natural calamities.
