The department of Sanskrit was established in 2016 with 08 seats . It started with an objective of imparting quality education in the field of Sanskrit The aims of the department are to create an atmosphere conducive for imparting vedic knowledge and Indian Heritage and to make a centre of excellence in Sanskrit.The faculties are enriched in academic potential and widely known for their research and teaching abilities
